Either as an accompaniment to meats (hot or cold) and gravy/sauces or simply on their own on toast or bread, many of us prefer our fruit preserves without seeds, skins or pieces of the fruit themselves - Jellies. We build them up from the original fruits without the use of concentrates or any artificial additives. The range is wide with some e.g. Blackberry more often used on toast with others e.g. Mint more often used with meat and others e.g. Redcurrant, Quince, Elderflower and Gooseberry perfectly suitable for either. Our own creation, Elderberry and Blackberry Jelly, following its appearance immediately won a three star Gold Award (the highest) from the Great Taste Awards.
